An outstanding hotel in an excellent location surrounded by beautiful villas (the metro station Bologna is a 5-minute walk and in four stops you can arrive at Colosseo-you can also take bus 62). The rooms are very clean, very well decorated, the breakfast is delicious offering a great variety of options: fresh orange juice, yogurt, a lot of fruit including bananas, apricots, kiwi, peaches, pears. Aside from cereal, milk, bread and their very tasty cheeses you should not forget to try their unique torta della nonna (cake of the grandmother) which was by far the best pastry we tried in Rome. What impressed us the most, however, was the genuine hospitality and friendliness of the two ladies in the front desk, Luciana and Emi, who went out of their way to make sure that we were happy. They were kind enough to let us stay in the room until 3:00 although we should have checked out at 12:00. In this way we didn't have to roam in Rome until the time our train would depart for Florence. They were also very flexible with the time for breakfast and they were very eager to provide us with invaluable information about Rome. When we would arrive in our room late at night two bottles of chilled water would wait for us and this was something that moved us because it reminded us of the way our parents would treat us. Thank you very much for an unforgettable experience and we hope that we will return soon!
The room was clean & comfortable, quietly & big enough for two people. The linen was changed every day. Breakfast's perfect - a lot of fruit, fresh juice, cofe. Reception team very helpful, just doing their best for every guest. Location was comfortable. It's a nice place for family stay & relax.
I really liked the environment ... residential area, calm, next to Luigi Pirandello's House. Very nice terrace. Staff very helpful. Not far from a commercial street with Trattorias and Restaurants.
10 to 15 mins walk from metro Piazza Bologna (if you want to reach the hotel easily, use exit 'Via Ravenna). Some basic equipments missing in the room (like a drinking glass). Breakfast was ok but not exceptionnal.
It is a Villa indeed, with a great garden. Pure relaxing place, in where some high level income people live.
If it was closer to the city centre, it would be better for me.
It was a pleasure to be in a newly renovated hotel with all the modern conveniences. The staff was eager to please and the service was excellent. The breakfast which was included was a pleasant surprise, with many choices, fresh fruit, cereals, cold cuts, breads, and especially the pasteries. Of course the morning cappucino was the perfect way to start the day in Italy.
The only thing that I didn't like was that you had to walk a bit to get to the local stores and restaurants since this is located in a residential neighborhood. However, you could certainly take a taxi or bus into the heart of Rome.
Beautiful villa in quiet area (although nice restaurant on walking distance). Short walk to bus stop, little longer for metro station. Good breakfast on the veranda with fresh juices. Wifi. Friendly staff. Nice room.
Bathroom can be better for a villa/superior room (more water coming from the shower, water hose not in the way when showering, toilet seat placed solid on the toilet, airco in bathroom less noisy eg).
Good location: hotel il located in beautiful, respectable, quiet and safe Nomentana district. The stuff is exellent - friendly and willing to help. Reason why I`ve chosen "Villa Perandello" was the veranda where the breakfast has been served. It was as pretty as I expected: veranda was splendid and breakfast was lavish: yogurt, fruits, gams, juice, cereal, cheese and ham and bread for sandwich, plenty of cakes and coffe of course.
Walls a little bit thin so you can hear your neighbours. Also airplains fly over sometimes. But I`ve got accudtomed soon, besides by nigt I`ve been so exausted that coudl sleep even with the cannon-shot. в-) Wifi in the room didn`t work but I`ve reseived the internet wire and it was OK!
The staff was absolutely amazing. The hotel is very small, in a villa, with just 14 rooms and this gives a very intimate feeling. The area is quiet (in the Embassy's area of Rome), perfect for resting after having walked the entire day. The location is good (10 minutes walk to Bologna metro station and 3 minutes walk to Termini express bus 90).
We've been first time in Rome and hopefully the hotel didn't disappoint us. For it's price it offers rather good rooms, clean with normal sound insulation. Stuff is friendly, they did their job in time, without being obtrusive. Good location, good breakfast outdoors.
A marvellous, charming and cozy hotel with extremely helpful and attentive staff! We cannot be happier with our choice of hotel in Rome - it just cannot be better! This was my second time in Rome and this time I was careful about chosing a hotel - so did a lot of research, before I booked. The good impression of the hotel was created before we even got there Lucy from Villa Pirandello was so kind to offer us help in arranging transportation to/from the airport, which turned out to be very important as Fiumicino was not close - thank you Lucy! During our stay we felt like we were in a private villa - with its own nice veranda, where we would start our day with a cup of great italian coffee Small and cozy and with attentive people around you. The hotel is situated in a very quiet and green neighborhood and transportation to the city center was very easy - we used the metro station P.za Bologna (4-5mins of walk from the hotel). Even walking to the city center was not tiring and not that far away as one would imagine at first. Many thanks to Emy also from the hotel - she was so kind to help us with the city routes and orientation in the neighborhood (there was a strike in the public transport one of the days and it was not operating, so we had to walk to the center). Thank you Emy! Thank you also Paolo and Said from the reception. Altogether, we were extremely pleased and no doubt we would chose this hotel again when we return to Rome! Thanks!
Everything was fine - no any issues whatsoever during our stay there. Only small issue was, when they charged my credit card prior to our arrival (in order to test whether my credit card was ok, which is something understandable), but this was also fixed in a professional manner - excellent communication with Lucy from the hotel.
The hotel was lovely. Nice decor, large room with many modern details. Would stay at this hotel again.
A bit far from the main tourist attractions.
We had a great time in Rome and Lucy, Emi, Said and all staff in hotel make that even better . After few conversations, we had feeling that we know them for a really long time. Hotel is real villa, with history and modern furniture and design in accordance to that history, perfectly clean, situated near center in peaceful and safe area, surrounded by lot of embassies. You can catch bus after 2 minutes walk, and subway train after 5 minutes walk from hotel to your destination in center. Villa Pirandello is warm and pleasant place with kind, accessible and dedicated stuff and we are happy that we choose this place for our honey moon. Ana and Ivan
Hotel itself is fantastic and new but the best is the staff: friendly and dedicated. Extremelly flexible and solution oriented. They will have a spa very soon. Thi hotel used to be a monastery for nuns but who would say that now!!! Location is great and Said and all the rest of the crew so willin to help it was just a delight to spend a few days there. Pity it was just a few days!
The hotel has a pretty good look and a nice veranda-courtyard. Nice staff and a almost italian luxury look inside. Not far from the subway.
Unfortunately for our two rooms but the towels were dirty from the factory and it was not very well soundproofed. As if there was an electric heater in the porch, we were freezing while having breakfast. I would say that it was a bit expensive if we take into account that we were not close to the city center of Rome. Anyway, I recommand this place for a family or friend stay, probably not for a romantic honeymoon. Maybe the elevated floors were better furnished and more comfy. Thanks to the team !
Clean, great staff, average breakfast, comfortable bed, good sized room + bathroom, easy location 10 mins from terminii on bus
Shower not working properly room 12, noisy doors, lack of sound insulation, no sun loungers on terrace, --- No Spa......."its not ready yet"...but all the signs are up, nothing on website or anywhere else, its a con !
